Maureen Goss is a National Board Certified Acupuncturist licensed in both New York State and CT. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Goss’ firm foundation in the Chinese healing martial art of qigong inspired her to study acupuncture at the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City. After graduating and successfully passing the National Board Exams, she spent a year creating and implementing a highly successful clinic at the Callen-Lorde Community Medical Center in Manhattan. Today, she has a private practice in Greenwich Village.
“ My goal is to not only resolve the health issues my patients present, but to support each one in their journey toward living less stressful, more joy-filled and, ultimately, more productive lives. My style is eclectic. I use Chinese, Japanese, as well as American traditions that have evolved from classic oriental medicine. I have seen amazing results from supposedly “hopeless” cases. I love my work and always treat in the highest and best interest of anyone who walks through my door. Ultimately, my intention is to treat each person with compassionate care using my skills to elicit a profound sense of well-being, which will, hopefully, give rise to people with a clear sense of purpose and place in their lives.”
