CLUTTER EQUALS STRESS
June 29, 2010
A few months ago, Lisa Lelas, asked me to be a guest on her T.V. show Simply Organized to talk about how I manage my time and life as an acupuncturist. I declined. At the time, and still today, I need to square away the many boxes of photos, negatives, and slides of my time as a model and even more from my time as a photographer of fashion and raising my family. In addition to all that, I have years of writings in journals filled with daily musings, poetry and simple recordings of the day. In a nutshell, I did not feel comfortable giving advice on being organized when my spare room is piled high and begging for order. It seemed inauthentic and incongruous to say the least.
I truly believe that getting rid of clutter reduces stress. So here is to the summer of 2010 when my intention is to slowly take Lisa’s advice which she makes sound so easy—get to the bottom of my personal rubble, get rid of what I no longer need, and organize the rest in a meaningful way. In the meantime I might crack open the first book she wrote, Simple Steps as a spark of inspiration. And when I finally have my writings and photos placed in the book I envisioned for so long, you will be the first to know!

You have inspired me to “get to the bottom of my personal rubble,” which will definitely be a transformational experience! Thank you for the warm smile I now have thinking about your honesty and authenticity! Sincerely, Susan
Thanks so much for your kind words, Susan. They mean a lot…in the meantime, I’ve made some progress…it is definitely a process! Good luck with yours.
